The jungle of Runeterra doesn't wait. Riftbound: Unleashed is the third set of the official League of Legends TCG, published by Riot Games – and it marks a major turning point in the game's history. With over 220 new cards, four never-before-seen Champion Legends, three revolutionary mechanics, and the very first Ultimate rarity ever released in Riftbound, Unleashed pushes the boundaries of gameplay and collection. The Simplified Chinese version was released on April 10, 2026 – almost a month before the global release – making this Chinese display the most accessible and immediate entry point for European collectors and players.
⚔️ Slim Format: This display contains 24 boosters of 5 cards, for a total of 120 cards. Ideal format to explore new mechanics, hunt for star champions, and try your luck for the Baron Nashor Ultimate Rare.
👑 Baron Nashor - Riftbound's first Ultimate Rare
The card that has the entire Riftbound community buzzing is finally here. Baron Nashor (238/219 Ultimate) is the first – and currently only – Ultimate rarity card in the entire game. Revealed at the China Major in March 2026, this out-of-set Overnumber surpasses anything that existed in Riftbound in terms of rarity: it appears in less than 0.1% of boosters. Riot Games has confirmed that Ultimate rarity will not be present in all sets – it is reserved for truly exceptional cards. A full display does not guarantee obtaining one. For collectors who get it, it is a historic and irreplaceable piece.
⚙️ Three new mechanics - Unleashed redefines the meta
- XP (Experience): A new resource to accumulate throughout the game. Cards with Level abilities unlock increasingly powerful effects as XP increases – Master Yi, for example, becomes spell immune at level 16. The power curve changes the pace of every duel.
- Hunt: When a unit with Hunt conquers or holds a Battlefield at the end of a turn, you gain XP. Hunt rewards aggression and makes territorial control even more strategic – staying passive now costs you power.
- Ambush: Play a unit as a reaction on a contested Battlefield where you already have troops. The TCG equivalent of a jungle gank in LoL – a bluff and surprise mechanic that punishes reckless attacks and creates spectacular comebacks.
⚔️ Unleashed Champions
4 new Champion Legends:
- Kha'Zix - The Void predator, master of Hunt and Battlefield domination
- Lillia - The Dream Deer, slow tempo style and long-term advantage generation
- Diana - The Scorn of the Moon, control and punishment of over-extended boards
- Ivern - The Green Father, building large boards and unprecedented token generation in Riftbound
Returning Champions with new support: Vi · Vex · Master Yi · Pyke · LeBlanc · Rengar · Jhin · Poppy · Ashe - including several with exclusive new Alt-Art versions.
🎴 Rarity System - Unleashed
Unleashed retains Riftbound's rarity system and adds the Ultimate tier:
- Common (bronze): Deck foundation - available in normal and foil versions
- Uncommon (silver): Synergies and Battlefields - normal and foil versions
- Rare (purple): Champion Legends and associated Units - brilliant foil
- Epic (gold): Champion Units and Signature Spells - approximately 1 in 4 boosters - premium foil
- Alt-Art Showcase (yellow hexagon): Alternate versions of main Champions - 30+ in Unleashed
- Overnumber (numbered beyond 219/219): Premium out-of-set cards, never reprinted identically - approximately 1 per 3 displays
- 🆕 Ultimate Rare (yellow hexagon + Ultimate mention): New tier introduced by Unleashed. Only one card in this set - Baron Nashor (238/219). Less than 0.1% of boosters. The rarest card ever published in Riftbound.
